What is boudoir?
Boudoir Photography treads the find line between fashion portraits and glamour photography. The word Boudoir itself derives from the French word which means, 'woman's provite salon'. Boudoir shoot are usually for woman, yet men are also welcome to be a part of the experience too.
These shoots are meant to exude sensuality & are intimate by nature. That's why one usually wears racy lingerie & pose seductively to profess ownership over their sexuality.
Unlike other genres, boudoir's subjects are often not professional models - anyone can do a boudoir shoot. If you're on the journey of self-discovery, in need of a confidence boost, or just express yourself, a boudoir session an be the bestexpereive for that!
Is studio space included in my session?
No, I don't have my own space. However I can provide a selection of recommend spaces in the area. Studios are reserved at an hourly rate, you will be required to provide a deposit for the studio rate the nyou book your time.
**Couples sessions require a MINIMUM of 2.5 hrs in studio
How do I pick a studio space?
I have shot at many studios around Colorado - when we plan our shoot I'll provide a collection of studio options.
What kind of attire should I bring? How many outfits?
Clienta are recommend to bring a set of clothes they are comfortable in to start ( ie: a casual outfit to a cocktail dress.)
Depending on the package you select there will be a suggested number of outfit changes. *Keep in mind you don't have to wear lingerie to a boudoir shoot.
Bring something you feel confident and sexy in!
Do I have to wear lingerie?
You don't have to! You can wear any outfit you feel comfortable in. Boudoir gives you the ability to dress up or dress down to your comfort level. IF you are interested in shooting multiple outfits you can always upgrade your package.
May I bring someone with me?
Absolutely! I just ask that you tell me me a few days before the shoot.
** If they choose to be a part of the shoot (ie modeling) there is an add-on fee)
